  • Real-time preview image is reddish  

      · The lens mode is reversed, please try to reboot the device after power off

      · Click [More]-[Image settings] on the real-time preview interface to switch between full color and B&W to test if it can recover

      · Please observe whether the image effect is normal in night vision mode

        1) If the night vision mode displays a normal black and white screen, the lens is malfunctioning. Please contact the seller for after-sales service

        2) If the screen is all black in night vision mode, the lens mode is reversed, please contact the technician (Support center)

  • The image is not clear in night vision mode  

      · If the screen is white, please make sure that there is no object in front of the lens blocking and reflecting, then you can try to adjust the monitoring angle

      · If a white light circle appears in the middle of the screen, please move the device closer to the monitored object (it is not recommended to use indoor cameras in open environment such as outdoors)

      · If the screen is completely black, please confirm whether the infrared light is on

        1) If the infrared light is not on, please troubleshoot whether the infrared light is faulty

        2) If the infrared light is on, the lens filter reverse cut, please try to power off and reboot the device

        3) Please observe whether the image effect in color mode is normal

          a. If the color mode displays a normal color image, the lens IR-CUT is faulty, please contact the seller for after-sales service

          b. If the color mode image is reddish, the lens mode is reversed, please contact the technician (Support center)


  • How does the solar-powered device record?  

      1) If the device is woken up by user, the recording video is called normal recording, that is, it starts recording when viewing the real-time screen of the device

      2) If the device is woken up by PIR, the recording video is called alarm recording, that is, when detects the outside signal(awaked by PIR), the camera wakes up quickly to record the event

      3) In Adaptive power mode, when the power of the device is between 3 and 5 bars, the device never sleeps, just like normal 5V DC power supply mode. When the power of the device is below 3 bars, the device will enter standby mode and can be only woken by PIR or user, the default mode is Low-power mode

      4) In Battery saving mode, the device is in standby mode, only woken up by user and can't be woken up by PIR

      5) AOV mode( AOV 24H recording, all-day micro power standby, without interruption)

        a. Continuous AOV recording, all-day micro power standby, continuous AOV recording at a low frame rate, triggering alarm recording when someone passes by

        b. Recording Off, the device enters sleep mode and can only be awakened when viewing the device remotely through the APP


      Note:

        1) When the device has only 1 bar of power left, low power status, can't be woken up by PIR in standby mode. It can only record when it is woken up by user, which is called normal recording

        2) Timeline mode: the white interval on the timeline indicates that there is no recording file in the time period, the blue interval indicates normal recording, and the red interval indicates the alarm recording

        3) Only AOV device can support AOV record mode settings

  • How to use "Adaptive power mode settings" function?  

      · At present, only solar-powered devices or AOV devices support the "Adaptive power mode settings" function, which is the working mode of the device. Open the APP, click the [Settings] icon in the device window - [Adaptive power mode settings] to enter the setting interface

        1) 5V DC power supply: the default mode is Never sleep mode, that means connecting with DC power source( the device with unremovable battery doesn't support )

        2) Battery power supply:

          a. Adaptive power mode: Best recording coverage. Switch to "Never sleep mode" when the battery is sufficient (between 3 and 5 bars). Switch to "Low-power mode" when the battery is low (below 3 bars)

          b. Battery saving mode: Ultimate battery life. Can't be woken up by PIR, in low-power standby mode and can be only woken up by user

          c. Low-power mode: Best battery life. The device will sleep in standby mode to consume less power while working. Device will wake up automatically when triggered by PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) motion detection

          d. Never sleep mode: Never Sleep. All functions are not limited until the device enters battery power protection mode


      · Adaptive power mode - Time interval setting:

        All day: devices always apply this Adaptive power mode

        Daytime: keep Adaptive power mode between 8:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m., and Low-power mode or Battery saving mode is applied at other times

        p.m.:keep Adaptive power mode between 20:00 p.m.to 8:00 a.m., and Low-power mode or Battery saving mode is applied at other times

        Custom time period: up to 3 time periods can be set. Adaptive power mode is applied in the preset time interval, and Low-power mode or Battery saving mode is applied at other times


        3) AOV mode( AOV 24H recording, all-day micro power standby, without interruption)

          a. Continuous AOV recording, all-day micro power standby, continuous AOV recording at a low frame rate, triggering alarm recording when someone passes by

          b. Recording Off, the device enters sleep mode and can only be awakened when viewing the device remotely through the APP


        Note:

          1) When the device has only 1 bar of power left, low power status, can't be woken up by PIR in standby mode, and some high power consumption features are unavailable, such as PTZ and light control, etc.

          2) Please click [Save] at right upper after changing device work mode to take effect

          3) Only AOV device supports AOV record mode settings, the device without PIR can't support adaptive power mode settings

  • How does the solar-powered camera work?  

      1. The solar-powered camera in low power station has two modes: wake-up mode and standby mode

      2. Standby mode: Camera's main module will power off, only the communication module with low power still power on. When detects the outside signal( remote wake by user or PIR ), the camera wakes up quickly to record the event

      3. Wake-up mode:  If the device is woken up by user, the recording video is called normal recording; If it is woken up by PIR, the recording video is called alarm recording. After quitting real-time preview or the event ends, camera will get in standby mode again

      4. Support Adaptive power mode: In Adaptive power mode, when the power of the device is between 3 and 5 bars, the device never sleeps, just like normal 5V DC power supply mode. When the power of the device is below 3 bars, the device will enter standby mode and can be only woken up by PIR or user, the default mode is Low-power mode

      5. In Battery saving mode, the device is in standby mode and can only be woken up by the user, not by the PIR


      Note: When the device has only 1 bar of power left, low power status, can't be woken up by PIR in standby mode, and some high power consumption features are unavailable, such as PTZ and light control, etc.


  • The use of solar panel and battery  

      1. The black part above the attached solar panel is a mono-crystalline silicon photovoltaic power generation panel, and a 18650 lithium battery pack built in the battery compartment (compliant with standard certification)

      2. In order to ensure transportation and storage, the battery will not be fully charged for distribution, please use the standard power adapter (DC_5V/2A) to charge for more than 8 hours for the first time (turn the solar panel switch to "OFF" to improve the charging efficiency during charging). After full charged, when connecting the camera, turn the switch to "ON"

      3. Please keep the surface of the solar panel as clean as possible. Moss, dust, etc. covering the surface of the solar panel will affect the charging efficiency of the solar panel for the battery

      4. Please install the solar panel in a location with sufficient sunlight to obtain the best battery charging efficiency and increase the battery life

      5. The power generation voltage of the solar panel will change with the intensity of the sunlight, and if there is a voltage difference between the built-in battery pack and the solar panel, it will be charged. When the voltage difference reaches a certain standard, the power icon on the APP real-time preview interface will show a charging symbol with "lightning"

  • How to check the solar panel?  

        · Please observe the indicator light of the battery compartment

         1) When the green light is on, the solar panel works normally, and if it is off, the solar panel can't work normally

         2) When the red light is on, it means the battery is charging and the light will turn off after the battery is full charged (When connecting the camera, please turn the power switch to "ON")


  • How to judge whether the solar-powered camera is charging?  

      1) Please check the battery icon on the left upper corner of real-time preview interface of the device. The power generation voltage of the solar panel will change with the intensity of the sunlight, and if there is a voltage difference between the built-in battery pack and the solar panel, it will be charged. When the voltage difference reaches a certain standard, the battery icon on the APP real-time preview interface will show a charging symbol with "lightning". If there isn't, may be the voltage difference does not reach the certain standard

         If the solar panel faces to strong sunlight but still no charging symbol, and the power will continue to run out, it may be caused by charge issue, please contact the seller for after-sale service

      2) Maybe the battery power is exhausted, you can try to charge the solar panel for about 1 hour with a 5V/2A power cord, and then observe, if it still cannot be charged, please contact the seller for after-sale service

      3) If it is confirmed that there is no charging symbol under strong sunlight and enough voltage difference, it may be a solar panel problem or a line problem, please contact the seller for after-sale service
